Practicing the art of daily Kaizen
This site began as an outlet for my writing and a chance to explore random ideas - food, fitness, work. As fate would have it, shortly after starting my blog I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This site became a place where I could journal my experience and process the roller coaster of emotions I was going through at the time.
That was in 2014. With my surgery in the rear view, I am now emerging from the all-consuming crisis of treatment to start to live a "normal" life again. And to discover what exactly normal now means to me.
Every day we have a choice to just "keep on keepin' on" or to observe and learn from experiences both tremendous and mundane. This site is one way I'm taking time to reflect on life - to be attentive and really notice the world around me. However long that life may be, however many days I am still to be given.
